This style guide was created as an experimental case study. The goal was to combine two of my passions, the Legend of Zelda (LOZ) and Halloween. I felt of all the LOZ games, Majora’s Mask was the best fit to combine with a Halloween Theme. The game has a ton of creepy elements and of course masks. The purpose of the style guide case study was to explore a style guide utilizing characters and assets from the game and giving them a Halloween spin. This was achieved by re-creating important characters and assets that could translate to a Halloween theme. All assets have been created using vector art and drawing from the original concept art for the original game. I also utilized a limited color palette based on traditional Halloween colors.
